Privacy and disclaimer
nobusato.jp is a personal site run by me, Nobu Sato. This page explains what personal information the site collects, what I do with it, and how to read what I write here.
What I collect
Your email address, if you subscribe to the newsletter.
Your name, email address and message, if you use the contact form.
Standard visit data when you browse the site: cookies, IP address, browser type and the pages you view.
What I use it for
To email you about new articles, to reply to your message, and to count visits so I can make the site better. Nothing else.
Sharing
I don't sell your information, and I don't give it to anyone else without your consent, unless the law requires it.
Where it's stored
The site, its forms, email delivery and visit statistics run on services from HubSpot, Inc. in the United States, so your information is stored on HubSpot's servers in the US.
The US has no single federal law equivalent to Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information. HubSpot protects data with measures such as encryption and access controls. For details, see HubSpot's privacy policy.
Cookies
The site uses HubSpot cookies to count visits. You can turn cookies off in your browser settings, and the articles will still work.
Unsubscribing and your data
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can use it at any time.
If you want to see, correct or delete your information, or have me stop using it, email info@nobusato.jp. I'll confirm it's you and take care of it.
How long I keep it
Only as long as I need it for the purposes above. After that, I delete it.
Disclaimer
The articles on this site are my personal views. They don't represent any organization I work for, have worked for, or am involved with.
For legal, tax or employment decisions, check with a qualified professional about your own situation.
Each article reflects what I knew when I wrote it. I try to get things right, but I can't guarantee accuracy.
Changes
If anything here changes, I'll update this page.
